Traditional Chinese Language Manager

The Language Management team under i18n focuses on providing a great linguistic experience for Meta products and content by removing language barriers. Meta platforms are available in more than 100 languages and we continue to expand internationally. We are looking for a Traditional Chinese Language Manager (Taiwan) to join our team to ensure high-quality localization for zh_TW across Meta products and content. Responsibilities Review, edit, and/or translate high-visibility UI content and high-priority long-form content for Meta family apps and core experiences. Perform localization screenshot testing in Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) to identify linguistic and functional issues. Work closely with product teams and conduct hands-on linguistic testing on web and mobile devices. Collaborate with Localization Program Management to support product launches and ensure linguistic quality throughout product launch cycles. Drive language quality initiatives at scale for products or verticals. Collaborate with Vendor Management to select translation vendors, manage probation, and onboard vendors. Monitor vendor translation quality using the quality framework and manage vendor performance when needed. Support cross-functional quality framework development at scale and build stakeholder education programs for internal and external partners. Maintain localization glossaries, style guides, and Translation Memory for owned content, keeping them up to date for the audience. Coordinate with in-country stakeholders across time zones to deliver market-appropriate translations. Perform other linguistic tasks as needed and travel domestically or internationally to Meta offices as required. Minimum Qualifications Native fluency in Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) and business proficiency in English. 5+ years of experience in English-to-Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) translation and product UI localization. Familiarity with popular and current trends from Taiwan. Preferred Qualifications Cross-functional experience working with engineers, product teams, and regional stakeholders. Experience in AI, AR, VR, smart home devices, or related technologies. Experience in hardware localization and testing. Experience in localization of gaming content and online/mobile products. Experience in localization program and/or project management. Familiarity with CAT tools and digital marketing. Knowledge of additional languages beyond native language and English.
