They will be working on building new engineering automation applications and modifying existing applications in our extensive library. The Revit API Software Engineer will work directly with product owners and other engineers at IMEG on various projects.Principal ResponsibilitiesAssist the Development Manager with all aspects of software design and codingContribute to and maintain IMEG's proprietary RAPIL (Revit API Layer) codebaseAttend and contribute to company development meetingsLearn the codebase and consistently show improvement in coding skillsWrite and maintain codeAddress minor bug fixesMonitor the technical performance of internal systemsRespond to requests from the development teamGather information from consumers about program functionalityAssist with documentationConduct development testsWrite unit testsOther duties as assignedRequired Skills/AbilitiesProficiency in Autodesk Revit API, C#, and WPF FrameworkKnowledge of databases and operating systemsGood working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office softwareAbility to learn new software and technologies quicklyAbility to follow instructions and work in a team environmentGood understanding of the organization's goals and objectivesExceptional written and oral communication skillsExceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skillsDetail-orientedKnowledge of basic coding languages including C#, HTML5, and JavaScriptBasic programmingProficiency in Jira, Git, and Blazor preferredEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in computer science or CIS preferredEquivalent of work experience in a related field required5+ years of Revit API experience in a professional software team environmentThis position is not eligible for sponsorshipSalary and BenefitsSalary Range: $90,000-$115,000/year. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
