Artech provides technical expertise to fill gaps in clients' immediate skill-sets availability, deliver emerging technology skill-sets, refresh existing skill base, allow for flexibility in project planning and execution phases, and provide budgeting/financial flexibility by offering contingent labor as a variable cost.Job DescriptionJob Title: SOFTWARE QA ENGINEER 3 Location: Santa Clara, CA Duration: 4+ Months contract (Possibility of extensions)Responsibilities:Provide an update of features to a JIRA plug-in including:Performance enhancements to database table generationBug fixes for plug-in feature issues and enhancementsImprovements to export and formatting of table data from JIRA, (HTML, Text, and Excel formats)Enhancements to web page displays under management and control by JIRAGeneration of additional data content from the SQL database within JIRAThis position will require the individual to quickly familiarize themselves with our custom JIRA plug-in and its interaction with the database for storage and retrieval of information. The UI robustness for this plug-in is critical, as is the performance of the data entry/retrieval into the interactive HTML form. This is used by many users of varying skill sets. The current performance needs to be improved due to slow response time.We need an individual with the right experience to quickly understand the use model and the technical aspects of this plug-in implementation.
