At PathAI, you'll work with a diverse and talented team of people, who are dedicated to solving complex problems and making a huge impact.Where You FitYou’ll work closely with our development squads while helping to lead and coordinate the efforts of our SDET team. As a key point of contact between engineering and quality, you’ll bring visibility to testing activities, drive process improvements, and ensure that quality remains a priority throughout the development lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who’s hands-on, collaborative, and ready to take ownership of how we build and verify great products.What You’ll DoTake ownership of quality assurance processes across multiple development squadsCollaborate closely with engineering leadership and product teams to align on quality goalsTrack development progress and manage the QA testing backlogWrite and maintain manual test cases for new and existing features when neededSupport test automation by providing test data, building fixtures, and running exploratory testsOversee the verification process, including documentation updates and compliance activitiesMaintain end-to-end test traceability from requirements through test executionMonitor CI/CD pipelines, investigate failures, and communicate issues to the engineering teamRepresent the SDET team in squad meetings and share quality status, risks, and metricsWork from our office in Boston (2+ days/week in office if local) or remotely from the United States on Eastern or Central hoursWhat You BringStrong organizational skills and attention to detailClear and effective communication, both written and verbalAbility to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment5+ years programming experience (e.g., Python or TypeScript)Understanding of test automation conceptsFamiliarity with modern testing frameworks such as Playwright or CypressExperience with CI/CD tools like GitLab, GitHub Actions, or CircleCIExperience with Jira for test and issue trackingBackground in Agile or Scrum development environmentsA collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to solving problemsNice to have:Experience in regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, finance, aerospace)Familiarity with advanced test management tools (e.g., Xray, Zephyr)We Want to Hear From YouAt PathAI, we are looking for individuals who are team players, are willing to do the work no matter how big or small it may be, and who are passionate about everything they do.
