Base pay range$130,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yrOverviewKforce has a client that is seeking an IT Manager Software Engineering in San Antonio, FL. We are seeking a highly technical and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of developers. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and can guide full-stack development efforts across enterprise platforms. You will be responsible for setting direction, driving delivery, conducting code reviews, and mentoring developers. The manager will also oversee hiring, team growth, performance management, and technical architecture decisions in alignment with broader IT strategies. A successful candidate will balance strategic vision with tactical execution and possess deep knowledge of software engineering principles.ResponsibilitiesThe scope includes leading and mentoring software engineers, guiding full-stack development across enterprise platforms, and aligning technical decisions with IT strategy. Duties include setting direction, driving delivery, conducting code reviews, overseeing hiring and team growth, managing performance, and shaping technical architecture.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldLeadership: Minimum 3 years in a people management or tech lead role, including hiring, coaching, and performance managementStrong development background (preferably in .NET and Azure), with at least three years in a lead/manager role and a focus on scalable, maintainable solutionsExperience with event-driven architecture, CI/CD, and DevOps cultureTechnical Depth: Hands-on experience with modern .NET frameworks and cloud-native development in Azure; proficient in code reviews and evaluating engineering talentAzure Expertise: Knowledge of Azure services, particularly PaaS, App Services, Azure Functions, and SaaS integrationsArchitecture: Experience with event-driven architectures (pub/sub, message brokers, service buses)DevOps & CI/CD: Experience with pipelines, version control, and automated deploymentsAgile Delivery: Proven track record in Agile environments; able to drive sprints, remove blockers, and ensure on-time deliverySoft Skills: Strong communicator; able to engage with technical teams and business stakeholders; strategic thinker with a bias for actionBonus: Background in oil and gas or industrial sectors is a plus, but not requiredAdditional notesThe pay range stated is the range Kforce believes in good faith they would pay at posting.
