OverviewThe Software Developer will work closely with the CIO, COO, Head Trader, portfolio managers, and operations staff to design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure applications. The role requires both strong technical skills and an understanding of the hedge fund environment, including risk models, P&L attributions, data processing, complex analytics, and compliance requirements.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain software applications supporting trading, portfolio management, risk monitoring, and operations.Design dashboards and reporting tools for P&L, exposures, and performance attribution.Build APIs and integrations with OMS, PMS, market data providers, brokers, and internal systems.Optimize database design and queries for performance and scalability.Collaborate with investment teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Ensure robustness, security, and compliance of all applications.Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems to support evolving business needs.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.3–7 years of experience as a software developer, preferably in a hedge fund, asset management, or financial services environment.Strong proficiency in Python, C#, or Java (Python preferred for analytics-heavy work).Experience with React, Angular, or similar frameworks for front-end development.Solid knowledge of SQL and database design (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar).Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.Prior exposure to trading systems, portfolio management systems, or risk platforms strongly preferred.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
