Their mission is to save lives through revolutionizing drug discovery and approval pipelines.Job DescriptionComp $150k to $180, DOEICE Client has scaled fast with this DevOps role becoming a critical addition to our engineering team.Your mission will be to take control of our already sizable AWS infrastructure using your AWS and Python Automation DevOps talents to both optimize what we have and prepare us for massive growth.Additionally, you will have the unique opportunity to help us connect our cloud infrastructure to the world of advanced electronics: where the cloud meets IoT.Finally, in the spirit of DevOps you will be embedded with talented developers to streamline our entire engineering cycle. Plus we will let you play with all the latest toys, we are big on Docker and Ansible to name a just a few.What You’ll Do:Manage (Hands On!) our expansion on AWS and be the go to person for scalability and availability concernsLead our systems management and optimization efforts, working across groups to keep us sharpWork closely with experts in data science, CV/ML, and software to simply get stuff doneQualificationsExpert working with AWS, managing tens to hundreds of servers on AWSAdvanced knowledge of automation frameworks such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or SaltSolid Python, Puppet, and/or BASH scripting for automationBackground in relational database technologies (Postgres is preferred)Understanding of network fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, ARP, BGP, TCP/IP, etc.)Experience with container technologies such as Docker or LXC (Docker Preferred)Plusses:Experience with Cassandra or another NoSQL databaseHands on experience with Marathon, Mesos, ChronosExperience with DebianExperience with CircleCI or TravisFamiliarity with Raspberry PiAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
