Solutions Architect

Overview Location: Dallas, TX (Can be remote with on-demand travel – 25% to client plant/office) Mandatory Skills: Solution Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Kubernetes, Microservices, OnPrem Solutions Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team to service our Customers providing Architectural Advisory and support activities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles, methodologies, and tools. The role of Enterprise Architect is to synthesize business objectives into key technology decisions and partner with business functions/units and engineering teams to buy, build, launch, and scale platforms with a focus on design patterns, technical debt, automation, and master data. Responsibilities Provide Architectural Advisory and support activities to customers, translating business objectives into technology decisions. Partner with business units and engineering teams to buy, build, launch, and scale platforms with emphasis on design patterns, automation, and managing technical debt. Guide architecture across multiple IT disciplines including integration, application, and data domains. Represent strategic projects and roadmaps to senior leadership. Qualifications Years of Relevant Work Experience: 12+ years Manufacturing or Automotive Domain Experience Certifications/Licenses: TOGAF v9 or v10; Certified AWS / Azure / GCP Solutions Architect - Master/Professional level 5+ Years of Experience as Leader in Enterprise Architecture & Solution Architecture with demonstrated ability to build Strategic Future state Architecture in complex cross-functional environments 5+ Years of Experience working with Merchandising / Supply Chain Business & IT Leaders to understand their vision/strategy and build Future State (3-5 Years) Strategic Architecture while ensuring current needs are met 7 years of hands-on experience in application development, systems design, infrastructure, data management, and PaaS/SaaS implementations Proficiency in AWS, Microservices architecture and modern software technology practices Experience with API Management, systems integration, data interoperability, on-prem and cloud infrastructure, operations, security/privacy requirements Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; ability to make strategic recommendations impacting daily operations Ability to guide others in resolving complex issues and cross-functional collaboration Superior analytical skills and ability to prioritize objectives Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present to senior leadership Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Visio, Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Willingness to travel (minimum 25%) to multiple US regions Employment type Contract Job function Information Technology Industries Banking #J-18808-Ljbffr
