This role ensures that enterprise applications and systems for departments like Finance, HR, Compliance, and Legal are robust, integrated, and aligned with business goals. By providing modern, efficient solutions, the Head of Corporate Technology enhances operational efficiency and compliance. This role blends strong engineering expertise with deep knowledge of corporate business processes and regulatory requirements to drive innovation across Accounting & Treasury, FP&A, Tax & Share Schemes, Procurement, HR, Payroll, Compliance, Enterprise Risk, Legal, and Internal Audit functions. Responsibilities Strategic Technology Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap for corporate functions, aligning IT initiatives with the firm’s strategic objectives and compliance needs. Ensure internal systems evolve to meet regulatory and reporting requirements in asset management. Oversight of Corporate Systems: Lead the implementation and maintenance of enterprise applications for Accounting & Treasury, FP&A, Tax, Procurement, HR, Payroll, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Audit. Oversee system selection, integration, and upgrades to support departmental workflows. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with department heads to identify technology needs and prioritize projects. Facilitate solutions that improve process efficiency and data integrity across corporate functions. Integration & Data Management: Ensure seamless data flow and integration between corporate systems to create a single source of truth. Implement data governance practices for timely and accurate management reports and analytics. Governance, Risk & Compliance: Implement IT governance and security practices for corporate tech systems. Use technology to strengthen compliance and risk management, and manage audits of technology processes. Vendor Management & Innovation: Manage relationships with software vendors and consultants. Evaluate and integrate new technologies that benefit corporate operations and stay informed about industry best practices to improve platforms. Must have skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field (Master’s/MBA a plus). Experience: 10+ years in IT/Technology roles with significant experience managing enterprise applications for corporate functions. Proven track record in leading technology strategy for finance, HR, or other support functions, ideally in asset management or financial services. Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial management processes and regulatory environment in asset management (SOX, SEC/FINRA). Leadership: At least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing teams of engineers or analysts and communicating with C-level executives. Technical Expertise: Experience with ERP, HRIS/Payroll, and GRC tools; understanding of system architecture, integrations, and data management. Preferred Experience Asset Management Industry: Direct experience supporting corporate departments in asset management or related financial institutions. System Implementation: Led major system implementations or digital transformation initiatives; change management experience. Vendor & Project Management: Experience negotiating with third-party vendors and delivering projects on time and within budget. Emerging Tech in Enterprise: Exposure to RPA, intelligent document processing, or predictive analytics for risk management. Technical Skills Enterprise Applications: ERP systems, financial reporting, and HR management systems; data management and reporting. Integration & Architecture: API integrations, ETL, iPaaS; enterprise architecture principles. Data & Analytics: Data warehousing and BI tools for corporate analytics. Security & Compliance: IT controls, RBAC, identity management, data privacy regulation compliance. Cloud & SaaS: Cloud-based applications, SaaS evaluation, cloud security, and vendor risk. Soft Skills & Leadership Competencies Strategic Vision: Develop a long-term technology vision aligned with business strategy and regulatory needs. Communication & Stakeholder Management: Translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and influence cross-functionally. Analytical Problem-Solving: Systematic approach to complex operational challenges and scalable solutions. Leadership & Team Development: Build and mentor high-performing teams; foster collaboration between business and IT. Change Management: Drive organizational change with training and support for new tools and processes.
