In this highly visible role, you’ll collaborate, influence, and strategize with the Director, Gap Brand Finance, Stores & Operations, and field leadership. This role is critical to the success of strategically growing our Stores channel. We’re seeking an individual who is analytical, detail-focused, a strong relationship builder, and motivated to drive results.What You’ll DoPartner with the manager to model and manage all store payroll and related expenses for the growing Gap North America fleet, including developing and communicating periodic labor forecasts to store leadership and internal finance partnersEngage with central store operations and cross-functional leads to develop labor plans, model initiative expense profiles, and quantify opportunities related to pilots and productivity initiativesDevelop the annual budget for store labor with central store operations and corporate partners for cross-brand investmentsDevelop strategy and provide analytical support to improve store OPEX management in a growing businessIdentify key drivers of store OPEX variability and investigate recommendations to mitigate risk or capture opportunities, aiming for high forecasting accuracyInfluence cross-functional partners using data-driven insightsWho You AreBachelor’s degree in Finance or related field3–5+ years of financial analysis experience, consulting, Big 4 accounting, or related equivalentExperience in store payroll or retail industry highly preferredAble to synthesize large data sets into a cohesive frameworkResourceful problem solver with a results-driven mindsetAttention to detail, strong organizational skills, and professionalism to drive accountabilityAdvanced Excel skills and modeling; knowledge of Oracle financial systems and Essbase/Hyperion is a plusBenefits at GapMerchandise discount for our brands: 50% off regular-priced merchandise at Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic and Athleta; 30% off at OutletCompetitive Paid Time Off planUp to five on-the-clock volunteer hours each monthExtensive 401(k) plan with company matching up to 4% of base payEmployee stock purchase planMedical, dental, vision, and life insuranceSee more benefits on our siteGap Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to a workplace free from harassment and discrimination. Employee pay will vary based on qualifications, experience, skill level, and location.
