Vice President, Commercial Banking - Sponsor FinanceLocation : IL - Chicago LPOWhat You'll Do :As a Commercial Banker, you'll be responsible for identifying a target market for new business and developing a book of new relationships. Key responsibilities include negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of major and complex loans in compliance with the Bank's policies; developing business checking and deposit relationships; and assisting clients with deposit products and services.Analyze market data to recommend products and services tailored to target market needs.Engage in business development activities to solicit new business.Collaborate with treasury partners to ensure seamless client experiences.Visit and call target customers to promote Bank products and establish new relationships.Maintain a customer database and report on new business activities.Assess loan applications, gather financial information, and negotiate loan terms.Coordinate loan processing to meet customer needs and comply with policies.Stay informed on industry trends and recommend improvements.Represent the Bank in community functions to enhance its market presence.What You'll Need :7+ years of related experience.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Knowledge of banking operations, including deposits, loans, and treasury management.Understanding of regulatory and compliance obligations.Strong relationship management skills.Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.Up to 50% travel may be pensation : Salary range for Chicago, IL is generally $139,095.00 - $171,821.00, with potential bonuses and stock options.Benefits include competitive salaries, ownership stake, insurance, time off, 401k matching, tuition assistance, volunteer programs, and wellness initiatives.About the Company : Western Alliance Bank, a subsidiary of Western Alliance Bancorporation, includes divisions such as Alliance Bank of Arizona, Bridge Bank, and others.
