In this role, you’ll work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing across multiple entities and geographies. You will also assist with payroll reporting, audits, and process improvements to help scale a best-in-class payroll function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in payroll who is eager to expand their expertise in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.What You'll DoSupport end-to-end bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll processing for US, Canada, UK and international contractors - including salary adjustments, timesheet auditing, benefits, and related deductionsManage off-cycle payments, including bonuses, commissions, severance, and reimbursementsTrain new employees and managers in the proper use of the timesheet systemPartner cross-functionally with the People Operations, Finance, and external vendors (i.e. Deel, Fidelity) to ensure accuracy of payroll data and resolve payroll issuesImprove existing processes where possibleGenerate manual or on-demand checks as necessary (i.e., California terminations)Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits, deductions, and other payroll-related mattersAssist with the preparation of payroll tax filings (i.e., 941, state tax filings, and other required documents).Reconcile payroll reports and support monthly close processes with the Accounting teamCreate and maintain standard operating procedure documentation for assigned tasksMaintain confidentiality surrounding all employee and payroll informationSupport other payroll projects and duties as assignedWhat You Need5+ years of processing multi-state and international payrollsDetailed knowledge of federal and state/provincial payroll tax regulationsProficiency in Excel and Google SheetsStrong knowledge with payroll and HRIS softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detailExcellent communication and organizational skillsComfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple prioritiesBenefits (for U.S.-based full-time employees)100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for youPartially covered for your dependentsOne Medical annual membership401k (including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp)Flexible PTOFertility HRA (up to $5,000 per year)WFH stipend to support your home office needsWellness stipendParental LeaveRelocation support to NYC or SF (as needed)Pet insuranceReferral InstructionsIf you are being referred for the role, please contact that person to apply on your behalf.Other noticesPursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.Ramp Applicant Privacy NoticeCompensation Range: $69K - $136K #J-18808-Ljbffr
