They partners with Commercial peers and Leaders to communicate revenue performance results and provide insights, align on key business drivers and/or implications to the overall business based on revenue results. This role will document inputs, outputs, and assumptions to update Revenue Management models and plans. This Analyst is also responsible for maximizing passenger revenue in assigned markets of up to $700M annually. We continue to look for opportunities to reflect the communities we serve, and welcome applicants with diverse thoughts, backgrounds, and experiences.ResponsibilitiesProactively monitor and oversee market and city performance and forecast quality to identify opportunities for revenue growth; identify outliers in performance and take appropriate actionsUnderstand and adjust market strategy at every point in the booking curveDeliver regular updates and well-written post-analysis on assigned markets and citiesAssist team in managing holidays and special events; conduct and present analysis on revenue performance within market scopeUse SQL to pull large amounts of data that support root cause analysis and communicationCollaborate with other Revenue Management teams on root-cause analysis and revenue opportunitiesMay perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s LeadersKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesIntermediate knowledge of macro and microeconomic principles and the impact on demand forecastIntermediate knowledge of Revenue Management and Pricing principlesSkilled in understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-makingSkilled in collecting, organizing, visualizing and assimilating data, including turning raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization softwareSkilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problemsSkilled in understanding and applying information to contribute to the organization’s strategic planAbility to communicate in a flexible and effective mannerAbility to confidentially and clearly present presentations to LeadersAbility to make decisions in an ambiguous environment and actively make trade-offs considering the highest revenue opportunity or greatest sense of urgencyEducationRequired: High School Diploma or GEDExperienceIntermediate level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in:Revenue Management, Pricing and similar analytical fieldPreparing and presenting high level business reporting to leadershipExcel or similar spreadsheets and relational databases like SQLLicensing/CertificationN/APhysical AbilitiesAbility to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of timeAbility to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the jobAbility to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the jobOther QualificationsMust maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelinesMust be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986Must be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelinesMust meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary and sensitive Company informationCompetitive market salary from $74,950 per year to $83,300 per year* depending on qualifications and experience.
