OverviewPotomacWave is looking for a Classification Analyst to join our team supporting a Federal client in Washington, DC. The Classification Analyst position involves classification review and analysis of work packages to be performed at various labs, as well as conducting classification assessments of field offices.ResponsibilitiesReceive Strategic Intelligence Partnership Program (SIPP) packages for classification review and verify that an appropriate classification guide is on file matching the referenced guide. If no classification guide is on file, coordinate with sponsor to obtain one.Review and verify that SIPP package classification is consistent between the package documents, including Determination and Findings, Statement of Work, funding documents, and other package documents as needed. If incorrect or inconsistent, coordinate with sponsor to remediate.Review and verify that SIPP package classification and the referenced classification guide do not conflict with agency classification guidance. If in conflict, work with the Field Intelligence Enterprise (FIE) sponsor and IN officials to resolve.Review and verify that SIPP package classification and referenced classification guide do not conflict with organization classification guidance and other agency guidance on the same or similar projects. If in conflict, work with the FIE, sponsors and IN officials to resolve.Provide a close review of OGA Special Access Program (SAP) work packages to ensure proper classification is provided to the organization. Ensure proper guides have been transferred to Labs to govern SAP and coordinate read-in requirements for the Director of SIPP and track and coordinate read-in list with organization offices when necessary.Able to obtain Derivative classifier certification to complete annual training and be responsible for protecting classified information and ensuring it is marked appropriately and should be knowledgeable about classification management techniques.QualificationsAt least 2 years of work experience related to classification review and/or assessmentsExhibit evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills and a proven ability to perform in an outstanding manner and deliver high-quality work products under tight deadlinesAble to internalize technical facts, spot discrepancies, process data, develop well-reasoned arguments/conclusionsAble to effectively convey deliverables both orally and in writing to Senior DirectorsExcellent grasp of Federal intelligence documents, how and why to classify them, and possess a strong understanding of the Federal activities regarding classification regulations, classification guidance, and how various intelligence agencies interact regarding classification coordinationStrong proficiency working with large quantities of information and capable of reviewing data timely and comprehensivelyExperience in program or project classification management and interaction with the national laboratories and/or the Intelligence CommunityAdvanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointAssociate degree from an accredited college or university preferred, Bachelor’s degree desirableThe selection of an individual for this position may be conditioned upon successful completion of a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examinationMust have an active Top-Secret or DOE Q clearanceSalary range: $80,000 - $120,000Equal Opportunity Employer/Race/Sex/Religion/Disability/Veteran Status/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/National Origin/Age. #J-18808-Ljbffr
