About the job Senior Tax ManagerOur progressive and growing firm is seeking a tax manager with 7 to 10 years of recent public accounting experience for its Columbia, SC office. The position is intended to be a fast track to partnership and taking over a significant client base for potentially retiring partners in the near future.This position will have the following responsibilities and qualifications :Responsibilities :1. Preparation and review of federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses including C and S corporations and partnerships.2. Direct communication with clients to resolve any issues as part of the tax preparation / review process.3. Perform research utilizing tax research databases such as BNA and / or RIA.4. Provide tax planning and advice for clients in order to minimize client current and future taxes.5.
