Director, Compass Operational Excellence DesignDirector, Compass Operational Excellence Design at Bristol Myers Squibb. Location: New Jersey, United States.OverviewLead the global Compass Operational Excellence (OpEx) maturity model and partner with Site OpEx teams to support Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP) goals. Design, test, and continuously improve OpEx elements, tools, and standards, driving outcomes and building organizational capability through digital and AI-enabled resources.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and own the global Compass OpEx maturity model in partnership with Site OpEx teams to support SQCDP goals.Design, test, sustain, and continuously improve OpEx elements, tools, and standards through feedback with sites and the Compass deployment team.Develop and implement capability building tracks and training programs to upskill the organization on Operational Excellence.Establish mechanisms and digital/AI tools to enable access to tools, standards, playbooks, and training resources.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of OpEx practices across the network.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of OpEx initiatives and drive continuous improvement.Support change management and communication efforts to drive adoption of OpEx practices.Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise in Operational Excellence methodologies.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 8 years in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies; Black Belt preferred.Proven ability to design and implement operational excellence frameworks and tools in a complex, multi-site organization.Experience in developing and delivering training programs and capability-building initiatives.Adept at integrating Digital and AI technologies into operational excellence frameworks; capable of leveraging analytics, automation, and intelligent systems to enhance maturity model design and deployment.Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills; data-driven decision-making.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Experience in change management and driving cultural change within an organization.Note: If a role intrigues you but doesn’t perfectly line up with your resume, consider applying anyway. #J-18808-Ljbffr
