Associate Director of Sales & Client Relations Browning & Sons Fine Jewelry is a trusted, family-owned and operated jeweler in the heart of downtown Hinsdale, Illinois. We carry a selection of renowned and high-end jewelry designers, and specialize in the design process of custom jewelry, jewelry repairs, polishing & cleaning, and engraving for generations. What we are looking for We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Sales & Client Relations to join our team. The ideal candidate has a managerial mindset, a deep appreciation for fine jewelry and fashion, and excels at building long-term client relationships. You’ll thrive in a luxury retail environment and play a key role in guiding clients through both ready-to-wear and custom design experiences. Candidates must demonstrate a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a passion for growing the business through both traditional and creative approaches. Responsibilities & Qualifications Provide exceptional, personalized customer service with a strong focus on relationship-building Able to assess customers’ jewelry needs and preferences Offer expert guidance on gemstones, precious metals, and design styles (this can come with training) Build lasting relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals Support merchandising efforts by maintaining clean, polished displays and ensuring proper lighting Rotate merchandise and assist with visual presentation to uphold store standards Handle transactions accurately and discreetly, always respecting customer confidentiality Stay up to date on jewelry trends, new arrivals, and brand promotions Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, with a polished appearance and demeanor Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills Maintain a high attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics Previous retail sales experience, preferably in luxury or fine jewelry, is strongly preferred Benefits Competitive pay and commission structure Store Hours: Closed Sundays and Mondays; Tuesday through Friday 10-5 p.m.; Saturday 10-4 p.m. Closed major holidays Health insurance Please submit your cover letter and your resume. #J-18808-Ljbffr
