We’re consistently ranked among the best firms to work for, with a culture that supports your career growth and rewards innovation and leadership.ResponsibilitiesAs a Structural Engineering Leader in our growing Seattle office, you'll take ownership of a wide variety of building projects—ranging from data center, commercial, and industrial through to healthcare and multi-family.You will:Deliver exceptional client serviceDevelop and grow new and existing client relationships in Seattle, PNW, andWest CoastMarkets.Collaborate withother leaders to developan actionagrowth plan forStructural Engineering practice in Seattle and greater PNWLead, develop,recruit,and mentorjunior and mid-level staff.Act as StructuralEoR, Structural Discipline Lead, or Project Manageron projectsLead structural design and analysis for new and existing buildings, including rehab, repairs, and site structuresCollaborate withowners,architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored engineering solutionsManagetimelines, budgets, and client relationshipsStay ahead of industry trends, codes, and standards—and integrate them into every designCommunicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including preparing project reports and presentationsQualificationsLicensed Structural Engineer (SE) in Washington withabilityto get licensure in California and Oregon preferred.Bachelor’s or Master’s(preferred)in Civil/ StructuralEngineering from an ABET-accredited programProficiencyinindustry standard structural analysis and documentation tools(CSiSuite, REVIT, Rhino,Bluebeam,etc)Strong command of building codes, structural systems, and engineering best practicesExceptional communication, leadership, and project management skillsDetail-oriented, creative problem solver, and client-focused mindsetExperienceinPerformance Based Designor Computational Designis a bonus.Salary Detail:$150k-$220kEligible for Performance Based Bonus CompensationWhy Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
