Overview Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney position for a mid-sized, Long Island–based firm. You will represent the firm in complex commercial litigation matters, demonstrating exceptional legal acumen, strategic thinking, and a strong commitment to client service. This position does not require a book of business, but includes a competitive compensation range of $300,000 - $450,000 per year. Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of commercial legal issues. Develop and implement litigation strategies that align with business objectives. Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting the company, advising on potential impacts and compliance strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to manage risks and mitigate potential legal liabilities. Provide training and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a proven track record of success. Active membership in good standing with NY State Bar. Exceptional legal writing and oral advocacy skills. Proficient in legal research and litigation strategy. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes favorably. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, working effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
