We are seeking a strategic, Business Analyst Manager to lead and scale this vital function. In this role, you will be the architect and manager of the next generation of our data infrastructure. You will lead the charge in building out a new, scaled data lake designed to power a future suite of AI-driven investigative tools, transforming how our sales and operations leaders make decisions. You will coach and develop talent and aim to grow the team.As a natural strategist, you will translate business challenges into technical roadmaps and mentor a team of analysts. You will partner with leadership to influence go-to-market strategy while owning the analytics stack, including Google SQL, PLX, and AppScript. This is a unique opportunity to shape a high-performing team and build the investigative foundation for Google's Ads business growth.The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's Ads business runs smoothly, setting go-to-market strategy and ensuring execution and operations. Teams are embedded across major Ads business areas with global support. Team members are analytical, strategic, and pragmatic.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$254,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location; your recruiter can share more about the specific range for your location during hiring.Please note compensation details reflect base salary only; bonus, equity, and benefits are separate. Learn more about Google benefits.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business needs into technical requirements, provide data-driven recommendations, and drive through to deployment.Present clear data-backed recommendations to executive leadership, influencing strategic direction and business outcomes.Manage and develop a team of business analysts, providing technical coaching, standards-setting, prioritization, and a robust adaptable roadmap.Oversee BI solutions and infrastructure design to enable data sourcing, storage, and retrieval to output reports, queries, and dashboards for decision-makers. Partner with upstream source systems to influence input and storage.Lead in-depth analyses across multiple data-sets to drive data-driven decision-making on critical business sales motions and initiatives.Google is an equal opportunity employer.
