WayUp is partnering with Arup to hire top talent for the Graduate Technical Advisory Consultant role (Available 2026).This role is intended for recent and upcoming graduates who will contribute to technical and commercial due diligence, risk analysis, and project coordination across sectors such as transportation, energy, telecom, industrial facilities, and water.ResponsibilitiesAssist in technical and commercial due diligence reviews, construction and O&M monitoring across different sectors: transportation, energy, telecom, industrial facilities, water, etc.Analyze risks including cost, schedule, design, contracts, permitting; request and manage relevant project information and coordinate with team membersPrepare analyses, draw conclusions, make recommendations, and coordinate/manage relevant project inputs from other consultantsAssist with proposals according to deadlinesRequired qualificationsPursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar with coursework in engineering and/or applied math/sciencesDemonstrate interest in the built environment generally and, ideally, in infrastructure (e.g., transportation, water, industry, energy, data centers, social infrastructure)Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS ExcelAbility to prioritize multiple projects, stay organized in a dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills for team-based workAnalytical mindset and/or strategic thinkerEligible to work in the US without employer sponsorship now or in the futurePreferred qualificationsCompleted a Master’s degree in Construction Management or similarPrevious internship or work experienceBilingual (Spanish or Portuguese with English)Comfortable with public speaking in professional settingsFamiliarity with project management tools and techniquesUnderstanding of project development process and project financeKnowledge of AutoCAD, Primavera P6, Excel financial modeling, VBAWhat we offerPurpose-driven work aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development GoalsOpportunities to explore challenges, drive change, and create lasting outcomes for clients and communitiesInclusive culture valuing diverse perspectivesCareer growth through training and mentoringFlexible hybrid work model to balance life and workGlobal Profit Share and 401(k) with company matchNext stepsWe review candidates on a rolling basis.
