Senior Corporate Counsel, GTM Legal

OverviewRidgeline is seeking a Senior GTM Legal Architect to partner with Sales, Product, and Finance to build scalable legal processes that support revenue growth, compliance, and long-term value. This role reports to the VP of Legal and Corporate Secretary and focuses on contract lifecycle management and enabling commercial success through efficient legal workflows. The role may leverage AI tools to reimagine legal workflows.ResponsibilitiesDesign strategic legal processes and playbooks to accelerate Ridgeline’s revenue growthFacilitate collaboration between Sales and Legal through training, enablement, and relationship-buildingGuide customer-facing teams through complex enterprise SaaS transactions with negotiation and legal insightDefine and improve intake processes, escalation criteria, and operational playbooks to streamline executionEnhance and evolve contract lifecycle management systems for vertical SaaSCollaborate with internal IT and external vendors on legal tech systems and integrationsAdvise on a range of legal matters and partner with external counsel when neededBuild and mature a strong commercial legal function, including delivering L&D resourcesQualifications and experience7+ years in-house commercial legal experience with enterprise SaaS contracts3+ years enabling sales on complex transactions and advising on data classification and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)Strong judgment and integrity; trustworthy teammateExcellent written and verbal communication across legal and business stakeholdersTech-forward mindset; comfortable with platforms like Evisort, SFDC, Google Workspace, Microsoft WordGeneralist orientation and growth mindset; alignment with company growthJuris Doctor (JD) requiredBonusExperience with legal tech integrations or automation platformsFamiliarity with procurement workflows or RevOps in high-growth SaaSExperience advising fast-paced startups or scaling legal teamsAbout RidgelineRidgeline is the industry cloud platform for investment management.
