Senior Counsel

About the RoleAs Senior Counsel, you/u2019ll serve as a trusted legal advisor to the executive team and will be responsible for maintaining and improving our legal practices. You will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and work closely with the Founder and Board of Directors. You must be commutable to one of our offices and will operate in a hybrid environment with 3-4 days per week on-site.What You7ll DoSet the overall strategy for Loop regarding all legal matters and ensure that all practices, policies, and decisions are consistent with our valuesNavigate legal infrastructure pertaining to risk management and value creation for the companyDraft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of complex commercial contractsManage corporate matters including shareholder and board materials, financings, employee documentation and other materialsCreate standard form agreements and legal processes to ensure consistency across the companyPartner with internal business stakeholders on new product development, strategic initiatives, and product partnership dealsServe as an internal legal advisor on labor and employment, tax, financing, litigation, and real estate mattersWhat Were Looking ForA JD, admission to a state bar, and 6+ years of experience working with a high growth technology company; either in-house or at a law firmDeep knowledge of general corporate matters and contract lawDeep experience interfacing with all levels of a company including entry-level employees, senior executives, and members of the Board of DirectorsStrong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience providing tactical, day-to-day legal support while also having the ability to zoom out and think strategicallyExperience with mergers and acquisitions is a plusBenefitsPremium Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance plans, premiums covered 100% for you401k planUnlimited PTOGenerous professional development budget to feed your curiosityPhysical and Mental fitness subsidies for yoga, meditation, gym, etc #J-18808-Ljbffr
