Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Estimator specializing in Earthwork to join our team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to apply their expertise in estimating, project estimating, and construction estimating in a challenging and rewarding environment. You will play a critical role in our project planning and execution process, ensuring all earthwork activities are accurately estimated and carried out efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. Responsibilities: Prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive cost estimates for earthwork and related activities in various construction projects. Review and analyze project documents, blueprints, and specifications to determine the overall project scope. Manage and coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders including project managers, contractors, and clients to gather all necessary data for estimates. Use specialized software and tools to perform complex quantity take-offs and calculate material, labor, and equipment costs. Prepare and present detailed reports and proposals to management, clients, and other stakeholders. Participate in bid proposal meetings and negotiations, providing clear and comprehensive explanations of estimates. Monitor and track project costs, identifying any deviations from the original estimate and suggesting corrective actions. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, construction materials, pricing, and the overall market scenario to ensure the most accurate and competitive estimates. Collaborate with the project management team in the planning and scheduling of projects based on the estimates. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating, project estimating, and construction estimating, specifically in earthwork. Proficient in relevant estimating software and tools such as Heavy Bid, Agtek Gradework 4D, Bluebeam. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, equipment, and industry trends. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and effectively. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work. Proven ability to manage and coordinate with various stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions. Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the construction industry.
