Wellness Program Job Details Job Details: Our company is seeking a seasoned and dedicated General Foreman with a focus on Electrical Construction. This position is vital to our operations, and we are looking for someone who can take charge and oversee all aspects of our electrical construction projects. BIG PROJECT FOCUS ON DATA CENTERS. The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision of electricians and other foreman, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth. Responsibilities: 1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors in electrical projects. 2. Ensure adherence to plans and specifications in the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems. 3. Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all work is carried out to the highest quality standards, and in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes. 4. Manage the procurement of tools and materials, ensuring all necessary resources are available for the timely completion of projects. 5. Schedule and assign work to construction workers and subcontractors, and monitor their performance to ensure that tasks are completed on time and within budget. 6. Implement and enforce health and safety policies to minimize the risk of job-site accidents. 7. Provide guidance, support, and training to junior staff to foster a positive and productive work environment. 8. Liaise with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure all project requirements are met. 9. Resolve any issues or delays that may affect the progress of the project. 10. Prepare and submit progress reports to management, detailing the status of each project. Qualifications: 1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a foreman role, preferably in the electrical construction industry. 2. Proven experience in managing and coordinating construction projects. 3. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, safety codes, and relevant regulations. 4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team of workers. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. 6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders. 7. Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant computer applications. 8. A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. 9. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different job sites as required. 10. Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and to lift heavy equipment and materials. Interested in hearing more?
