Title- Senior Java DeveloperPosition – 9 Months (Contract to hire)Location – West Coast or Texas or OklahomaRate – $Open (Best Possible)Travel Required 80%Job ResponsibilitiesSupports clients in their long-term digital transformation effortAssists clients in converting their legacy applications to cloud-native applicationsPairs with the clients’ developers to teach cloud-native development best practicesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLEExperience writing test-driven software developmentExperience with development languages, such as .NET, Steel Toe and with other application frameworks, techniques and toolsExperience in or knowledge of cloud-native development and agile development methodologiesExperience writing Rest APIs and micro services-based applicationsKnowledge of system integrations with platforms, such as NoSQL db, Redis Cache, and S3Strong analytical and problem solving skillsGood time management and organizational skillsAbility to work on challenging issues independently or in a team environmentAbility to pair with a customer’s development team and guide them on leading-edge technologiesAbility to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and environmentsNice to have's:Understanding of cloud platforms and providers, such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft AzureExperience working with private and public cloudsKnowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Concourse or othersBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent experienceNote: If interested please send your updated resume and include your rate requirement along with your contact details with a suitable time when we can reach you.
