Junior Patent Litigation Associate - San FranciscoWe are seeking a Junior-Level Associate Attorney to join our Intellectual Property Practice Group in the prestigious atmosphere of our San Francisco firm. This role is perfect for an attorney looking to deepen their expertise in patent litigation while working closely with seasoned professionals in high-profile cases. You'll be part of a team that values innovation and initiative, providing excellent mentorship and an environment conducive to personal and professional growth.Salary: $235,000-$260,000 per yearEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Defend sophisticated patent litigation cases, covering all aspects from initiation to resolution.Conduct thorough legal research and draft comprehensive motions, briefs, and other pivotal litigation documents.Actively participate in discovery processes, including managing depositions, organizing document reviews, and preparing expert witnesses.Work collaboratively within a dynamic team to develop effective litigation strategies and enhance client outcomes.Handle case management duties, ensuring meticulous adherence to deadlines and procedural requirements.Minimum Position Qualifications:JD from a top-tier law school with a notable academic record.Must be admitted to the Bar in California.2–3 years of experience in complex litigation, particularly in defending patent litigation cases.Strong foundational skills in legal writing, research, and analysis.Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.Preferred Qualifications:Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.Proven track record of positive presence and advocacy in legal settings.Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong drive to take initiative and lead in complex cases.Skills:Exceptional writing and communication skills.Advanced research and analytical aptitudes.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Effective interpersonal skills with the capability to work cooperatively in a team environment.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Benefits:Competitive compensation and discretionary prehensive suite of employee benefits and firm-sponsored incentive programs.Opportunities for professional growth and mentorship within an AmLaw 100 firm.Hybrid work schedule providing flexibility with a blend of remote and in-office work. #J-18808-Ljbffr
