Members can watch, pause, and resume content anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at will.The RoleLocation: Los Gatos, CA or flix's Growth & Commerce Data Science & Engineering team drives sustainable growth by leveraging data, experimentation, and machine learning to develop compelling conversion and monetization experiences throughout the membership lifecycle—from the sign-up process to post-signup commerce experiences.As a Senior Research Engineer, you will lead the development of algorithmic and ML-driven experience optimization systems, working closely with data scientists, analytics engineers, ML scientists, product managers, and other engineers.This role involves designing, implementing, and operating high-impact ML models, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify high-value applications, and improving infrastructure for ML development and deployment. You will also validate models through offline experiments and online A/B tests, and operate these models in production.Qualifications include a strong machine learning background, excellent software development skills, rapid learning ability, and strong communication and leadership skills.
