OverviewThe CFO is responsible for all financial aspects for Marshall Medical Centers (a part of the Huntsville Health System) and associated entities, including oversight of a $150+ million operating budget. The CFO must establish and maintain appropriate financial policies and strategies, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, establish budgets, and approve capital expenditures. This leader fosters financial stewardship and understanding within Directors and Managers. He/she must work closely with the CEO, hospital Administrators, and the Board of Directors to set and achieve financial goals and provide financial guidance. The ideal candidate is forward-thinking, demonstrates an excellent work ethic, and has a communication style that reflects our Culture of Excellence, with a focus on improving the lives of those we serve.Minimum QualificationsBA degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field from a credible institutionAt least 5 years of healthcare finance experienceFinancial management and supervisory experience in a healthcare settingPreferred QualificationsMA degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field from a credible institutionPrior experience as a CFO or in a similar leadership roleCPA certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
