Join us to make an impact today!The role at a glance:NBBJ is seeking a BIM Leader to join our central Digital BIM team, providing criticalleadership and support for projects across the firm, to drive and optimize quality andproductivity through Building Information Modelling (BIM).The successful candidate will understand the strategic importance of BIM, possessingstrong technical and interpersonal skills to support the overall management of BIM onprojects. With the ability to work within multiple platforms and a strong understandingof the holistic approach to design, we are looking for this person to make a significantimpact in solidifying our methodologies and ensuring their effective execution incollaboration with project teams.This role involves active involvement on projects across our studios, tackling the mostcomplex challenges, whilst supporting and guiding teams towards design and realizationexcellence for our Clients. These experiences enable the team to support firm initiatives,advancing our standards, best practices and the adoption of the latest technologies.This position offers extensive opportunities to grow within the team and across the firm,with exposure to an innovative, fast-paced collaborative your new role, you will:StrategicWork in partnership with Digital BIM Team members to maintain oversightacross all projectsContribute to the development, alignment and adoption of firm standards,policies and best practicesWork with the Digital BIM Team in delivering communication to immediateconnections across the firm e.g. studio(s), collegial group(s) project team(s)Identify staff training and education needs for the Digital BIM Team to addressMaintain oversight of staff machines to meet project and system requirementsAssist the Digital Delivery team in the deployment of BIM softwareManagementProvide BIM leadership, mentorship and guidance on projectsEnsure Digital Process Design is performed on assigned projectsLead project setup, including models, infrastructure and content from librariesManage performance and model health on projectsLead adoption of agreed BIM processes that comply with project standardsOversee BIM-related production partnering, including communication, qualitychecks and management of activitiesProvide support and troubleshooting to project teamsDeliver project onboarding for new staff and/or team membersCoordinate software version and builds across project team member machinesProductionSupport Project Managers in organizing tasks within the BIM environment,including production, standards compliance and model maintenanceEnsure key project BIM activities are performed, including informationexchange, design coordination and model maintenanceContribute to project work, including modelling, data management anddocumentationWhat you will need to succeed:Minimum 7 years of Architecture experienceBachelor of Architecture, Building Information Modelling or equivalentProven experience delivering large and complex projects using RevitAdvanced/Expert level knowledge of Autodesk Revit ArchitectureEnjoy working in a collaborative team environmentProven experience in project coordination including collaboration with teammembers and external consultants, using industry-renowned software platformsAbility to identify and communicate areas where skills, tools and processescould be improvedPassion for sharing knowledge and a demonstrated ability for clearlycommunicating complex technical ideas to designers, managers and clientsAbility to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to work independently and with minimal supervisionLicensure (Architect)Master of Architecture, Building Information Modelling Management orequivalentAutodesk Certified Professional in RevitExperience and passion for ‘Computational BIM’ through using Dynamo or otherscripting and programming languagesWorkflow knowledge in associated Autodesk products including: Navisworks,3DS Max, BIM360, AutoCAD etcWorkflow knowledge in associated Autodesk products including: Navisworks,3DS Max, BIM360, AutoCAD etc.Experience with Rhino and GrasshopperThe annual base pay range for this role dependent on location. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience. For candidates located in Seattle/Los Angeles/New York: $93,000 - $105,000. For candidates located in San Francisco: $97,000 - $107,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr
