OverviewA leading global architecture and engineering firm with over 100 years of legacy is seeking a Project Architect for their Atlanta, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Omaha, Washington, D.C., Dallas, Miami, West Palm Beach or Las Vegas office's Aviation Studio. This established firm specializes in transformative design across multiple sectors, with offices strategically located throughout the United States. Their portfolio encompasses federal, healthcare, aviation, education, and commercial projects, delivered through integrated architecture, engineering, and interior design services.Project Architect is responsible for coordinating, planning, and managing architectural projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality deliverables while adhering to project schedules and budgets.Key Responsibilities:Develop and specify project-appropriate architectural requirementsPlan and execute projects under supervision, managing internal team and consultant communication on technical aspectsInvestigate, evaluate, and recommend solutions, prioritizing work and seeking guidance on complex issuesPerform Revit modeling and detailing with the teamEngage in cross-discipline discussions and coordination with multidisciplinary teammatesConduct site investigations and observations, including travel for project-related activities when necessaryPrepare comprehensive narratives, reports, drawings, and specification documents, maintaining high quality within project constraintsParticipate in construction administration, reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and performing site visitsAssist with marketing and business development activitiesCoordinate work of junior professionals and technicians, leading quality assurance and control reviewsParticipates in client meetings and maintains effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout all phases of project development.Exercise independent judgment in problem-solving and technique selection, seeking guidance on complex projectsApply diverse architectural knowledge using advanced techniquesOversee finished plans, specifications, and material approvalsConfirm scope of work and contractual obligations with project managerMonitor project progress and communicate obstacles to the project managerPerform code analysisRequirements:Education & Experience5+ years of experience in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC)Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institutionArchitecture registration requiredAviation market experience preferredGeneral CharacteristicsCurrent knowledge of industry trends in space, function, and materialsProficiency in Revit Architecture requiredWorking knowledge of SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite/Bluebeam preferredStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated team coordination and contract document leadership skillsExcellent graphic, verbal, and written communication abilitiesPositive attitude and commitment to multidisciplinary teamworkPosition may require travel for project-related activitiesThe studio operates on a flexible hybrid schedule with three days in their collaborative office environment and two days working remotely, offering an ideal balance between in-person collaboration and remote flexibility.Please Note: Delays may be experienced if uploading portfolio pdf.
