This role requires an execution-minded driver with a discipline to manage a schedule, an ability to identify and mitigate risk, and a passion for improving healthcare through technology for our country’s veterans.Job Number: R0225181Functional Site Deployment SpecialistThe Opportunity:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Site Deployment Specialist to oversee the roll-out of electronic health record (EHR) software solutions at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). You will use a deep understanding of EHR systems, healthcare IT, project management, and software deployment processes. This role requires an execution-minded driver with a discipline to manage a schedule, an ability to identify and mitigate risk, and a passion for improving healthcare through technology for our country’s veterans.This is a field-facing support role that assists with critical path success by helping to identify and mitigate site-level issues. You will have project management responsibilities, including the developing of work plans and the monitoring of activities to ensure success. You will help to facilitate the assessment, alignment, and optimization of clinical or functional areas to meet EHR Modernization (EHRM) pre-deployment requirements. You will be a key point of contact for the coordination of functional workflow configuration projects and efforts. You will align clinical, technical, and executive stakeholders across the organization.You'll apply a broad understanding of the principles of computer and information science to the advancement of healthcare, including clinical informatics. You'll have the chance to apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts by helping to solve unusually complex problems with highly innovative solutions. Additionally, you may mentor or supervise employees. This position is a Hybrid role with Booz Allen. The world can't wait.You Have:Knowledge of the end-to-end deployment process for VA clients in the EHRM programAbility to travel domestically up to 75% of the timeAbility to evaluate and improve deployment processesAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, functional, clinical, and programmatic teams, to ensure successful EHR implementationsAbility to create and maintain detailed project plans and timelinesAbility to identify project risksAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirementsBachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience with health IT, or 15+ years of experience with health IT in lieu of a degreeNice If You Have:Experience with EHRExperience with VAPossession of excellent communication skillsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, CS, Engineering, or another approved disciplineVetting:Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government pensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
