Together, we are EXP.Be our next Traffic Engineer.Your work environment at EXPIn this role, you will be a part of the Infrastructure Division, of the Mid Atlantic Sector, based in Washington, DC and have the opportunity to work on multi-modal transportation and infrastructure projects.What a day at EXP has in store for youPerform and manage multi-modal traffic data collectionDevelop and conduct road safety audits and multi-modal safety studiesPrepare intersection and multi-modal corridor improvement studiesConduct transportation improvement planning studies for transit, vehicles, and bicycle and pedestrians in urban environmentsDevelop and review traffic control plans, maintenance of traffic plans, and work zone plansConduct Synchro and VISSIM analysisPrepare and review traffic signal design plans, signing plans, and pavement marking plansPrepare and review engineering reports, schematics, plans, specifications and estimatesConduct traffic operations analyses for multi-modal streets and corridorsDevelop Interchange Justification/Modification ReportsPerform project management responsibilities including cost estimates, proposals, scopes of work, schedules, invoices and client managementTrain and mentor junior staffWhat your experience looks likeBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Minimum 5 years of traffic engineering experience with local agencies and state DOT projects.
