It serves as marketing lead on the regional partnerships team, bringing a #OneTeam approach that contributes to regional and total revenue targets through stewardship of existing partners and successful solicitation of new partners. The position brings expertise in integrated marketing, leveraging public relations, digital, events, communications, content, and advertising, and marrying the goals of the partner and our organization to achieve mutually beneficial objectives. The role is responsible for partnership marketing excellence across the assigned portfolio, including leadership and development of direct report(s) on the regional partnership marketing team. Position reports to National Director of Partnership MarketingThe partnership marketing team is comprised of top-notch and well-rounded expert marketing and communications professionals, strong leaders experienced at interfacing with executives at all levels at global powerhouse brands, and passionate innovators who ideate and build campaigns that forge new ground. This position is part of a team that is advancing public interest on critical issues facing youth to create real impact for kids in communities nationwide.ResponsibilitiesDirect partnership marketing for regional portfolio of corporate & foundation sponsorsLead partnership marketing for all partners headquartered in assigned region, representing $10M+ portfolio of partnerships with top brandsDevelop deep understanding of partner business objectives and industry dynamics, and effectively integrate BGCA and partner goals to develop mutually beneficial, co-branded marketing plansServe as marketing point for premier partnerships within the portfolio, leading planning and implementationLead national marketing campaigns that leverage an expert integrated approach, including public relations, events, social and digital, content development, advocacy, communications, cause marketing and advertisingDeliver expert marketing counsel that builds confidence and trust with stakeholders at all levels, including top executives at partner brands, media, local Club leadership and board membersLead with innovation and creativity, identifying and acting upon opportunities to deepen impact with key audiencesProduce high-impact partnership marketing that elevates the value proposition for corporate investment in our mission, reinforces Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s leadership and attracts new supportersServe as a passionate champion of the Boys & Girls Clubs brand and ensure brand consistency and messaging that best represents the partner and our organizationLead efforts to scale marketing activities for successful implementation within a federated modelLead marketing for regional team, including supervision of direct report(s)Responsible for directing all partnership marketing for the regional portfolio, leading teams and vendors to deliver results that add value, ensuring marketing deliverables are executed with excellence, and acting as an impeccable steward of partnership resourcesProvide ongoing leadership, coaching and development of partnership marketing direct report(s) to deliver excellence and contribute to regional revenue goalsHire, train, supervise, evaluate and develop a successful high-functioning team according to BGCA’s policies and proceduresReinforces a team culture grounded in BGCA’s organizational valuesDevelops and implements plans and processes that advance the work for greater efficiency and impactConduct and/or participate in state, regional, and national staff meetings and conferencesAchieve annual corporate partnership revenue goalsContribute to achievement of regional revenue goal of $10M+ and total corporate and cause revenue goal by bringing marketing expertise to partnership strategy planning, renewals/upgrades for existing partners, and solicitation and stewardship of new business developmentLead with #OneTeam approach and work effectively with cross-functional teams including Resource Development, Youth Development, Marketing & Communications, Field Operations, Legal, local Clubs, etc.Maintain and demonstrate understanding of marketing, business, economic and corporate social responsibility trends – how they are evolving and expectations of companies and non-profits to address global and local issues, sharing timely information and learnings to broader teamBring marketing lens to prospect strategy and cultivation, and support development of solicitation(s)Lead with #OneTeam approach to drive partnership stewardship, growth and engagementContribute to annual business comfort and experience managing up, down and across the organizationQualificationsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, public relations and/or similar degree preferredMinimum of 7 years’ experienceSupervisory experience preferred, including coaching and development of direct report(s)Demonstrated success serving as a team lead, effectively working closely with clients, executives and cross-functional leaders to achieve shared goalsDemonstrated leadership in building relationships and stewarding key stakeholders to achieve business resultsExperience leading account teams within an agency setting considered a plusProven experience leading integrated marketing plans with excellence, with expert-level execution and demonstrated proficiency in diverse disciplines, including public relations, content/storytelling and digital/social mediaConsistent record in managing-through complex or ambiguous issues among various
