Our teams work a minimum of two days a week in the office, complemented by in-person trainings, meetings, and team-building activities to foster your growth and deepen team connections. These trainings and events may take place outside of your home office location.As an Account Supervisor in our Business Management service line, you will be responsible for the following:Compile and present financial reports, including monthly cash flows, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements for review and annual filings, such as 1099sGenerate supporting lead schedules for asset and liability accounts, ensuring accuracy and coherence in financial reportingConduct GL account reconciliations and analysisOversee and manage accounts receivable, payable, and payroll operationsRecord, categorize, and reconcile client bank and credit card statementsManage and monitor cash receipts and commission schedulesPrepare and review complex client statements and reports for higher-level scrutinyPrepare client meeting packagesAddress general accounting inquiries and tackle more complex accounting tasks, escalating when necessaryDeliver exceptional client service by meeting quality standards and deadlinesMaintain effective communication and relationships with managers, clients, agents, and attorneysSupport associates and new hires in understanding client-related processes and accounting mattersEngage in ad hoc projects as requiredTo be successful, these are the skills and experience you will need:Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting is highly preferred5+ years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping for corporate and high-profile clientsPrior experience in a senior or supervisory roleStrong knowledge of the general ledger, AP/AR, insurance, payroll, bank reconciliations, financial statements and supporting lead schedulesProficiency in the preparation and review of financial statementsUnderstanding of royalty paymentsExperience with AgilLink and QuickBooks software/QBO is highly preferredStrong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Outlook and ExcelStrong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, effective communication, and ability to work in a team environmentSelf-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to effectively address inquiries, resolve issues, and build positive relationships with clientsEffective time management skills with proven ability to consistently meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining clear communicationAbility to lead new team membersAvailability for overtime as neededYou Matter - HCVT provides a variety of benefits and perks that help sustain a healthy and thriving work environment.This salary range is specific to the state(s) listed and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill set and education; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
