Senior Electrical Engineer, Mission Critical Facilities

Company DescriptionSenior-Level Electrical Engineer - Valhalla, NYJob Type: Full-timeJob ResponsibilitiesThe engineering candidate will work under the supervision of a principal engineer and will be responsible for electrical design. They will analyze data to solve problems of diverse scope, exercising judgment within generally defined practices and policies to select methods and techniques for solutions. The candidate may serve as the primary contact with clients. A thorough understanding of low voltage electrical systems and the ability to execute projects with minimal oversight are essential. Growth opportunities are available as part of our expanding team.Roles and Responsibilities include:Travel to project sites (approximately 20% throughout the year), mostly day trips.Perform standard electrical calculations.Select and apply equipment appropriately.Understand electrical systems, electrical and building codes, etc.Draft designs using AutoCAD/Revit.Conform to company standards for AutoCAD/Revit and network protocols.Prepare and evaluate short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.AccountabilitiesEnsure accuracy and completeness of assigned work.Work independently without close supervision.Exercise independent judgment in interpreting information.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering and design using AutoCAD/Revit.Preferably licensed as a Professional Engineer.Valid driver’s license.Additional InformationRamboll in the AmericasFounded in Denmark, Ramboll is a foundation-owned company with thousands of experts across more than 70 offices in the Americas.
