OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our leadership team on a 6-month contract basis. The CFO will play a critical role in strengthening our operational and financial functions while mentoring and developing our current staff. This position requires a strong background in both finance and operations within a smaller manufacturing industry. We are looking for someone that has helped grow a $40M company to a $100M company. Local candidates only.The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership experience, a hands-on management style, and the ability to implement best practices that enhance efficiency, financial discipline, and operational excellence, all while overseeing a small team including a Controller, AP, AR, and Payroll professionals.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, develop and implement scalable financial processes, policies, and strategies that align with organizational goalsLead continuous process improvements and efficienciesOversee daily operations across manufacturing, supply chain, and administrative functionsOversee all aspects of financial accounting operations, including planning, reporting, and analysis for strategic decision-makingManage the organization/'s daily cash operations and prepare accurate cash flow reportingPerform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processesPartner closely with Operational and Financial leadership to align financial and operational goals with overall business strategyProvide financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and performance analysisMentor, coach, and educate the current staff to build stronger operational and financial capabilitiesDrive cross-departmental collaboration to ensure consistent execution and delivery of company objectivesCollaborate with external vendors, outside auditors and tax professionalsImplement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvementSupport strategic initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scopeQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required). Master/'s or MBA is a huge plus10+ years of combined finance and operations leadership experience in the manufacturing industryPrior experience with Quickbooks and Method CRMStrong understanding of financial management, cost accounting, and operational efficiencyDemonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, with a focus on mentoring and staff growthProven track record of process improvement and operational excellenceExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesContract DetailsDuration: 6 months (possibly longer)Compensation: Commensurate with experienceSchedule: Full-time, on-site with leadership teamApplyTo apply, please email your resume to for consideration.
