The role…Patent Analysts are responsible for performing technical research and preparing reports to support legal and business decisions related to patentability, validity or clearance of a patent, invention disclosure, technology landscape or portfolio management. In this role, you will:Perform desk-based research using patent search systems and non-patent literature databases to identify relevant informationDevise search strategies to effectively utilize each system and ensure appropriate scope of the searchQuickly read and synthesize information from various sources to determine relevance to the searchCurate and analyze documents located during the search to identify and describe the relevance of each document to the search requirementsPrepare report detailing search strategy and results according to established guidelinesRequirementsMinimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry.3+ years' experience in patent search, patent examination, or patent prosecution3+ years' experience with chemical structure searching including expertise with STNKnowledge of non-patent literature sourcesExcellent written and oral presentation skillsAbility to effectively work remotely:Private location (not a coffee-shop or other public area)High-Speed Internet AccessComputer with WebcamFollow all data protection, antivirus and software update standards #J-18808-Ljbffr
