R4: Project Manager / Project Engineer

Or, are you a mid-career construction management professional seeking a new opportunity?Essel is hiring construction Project Managers / Project Engineers with experience managing mid to large-scale projects.The Project Manager / Project Engineer could lead multiple projects in sectors such as:Multi-familyGround-up constructionTenant ImprovementsColleges / UniversitiesK-12 Construction with DSA oversightOther specialized sectors (OSHPD, etc.)Key duties include:Reviewing plans and specs for accuracy, preparing General Conditions, and establishing baseline schedules for subcontractors or self-performing teamsTracking project costs, managing change orders, RFIs, and owner pay applicationsOverseeing shop drawings and submittals, writing subcontracts and purchase orders, managing subcontractor relationships, and conducting regular jobsite meetingsManaging client relationships and maintaining ongoing communicationMinimum qualifications:3-5 years of experience in K-12, College, or University sectorsExperience with DSA oversight and managed projectsPreferred: Professional degree in construction management, architecture, or related fields (mechanical or civil engineering, construction tech, interior design, business administration)Ability to negotiate and execute subcontract agreementsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and ProcoreExperience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methodsTeam-oriented attitude and commitment to client serviceValid Driver’s LicenseIndustry competitive benefits are offered. #J-18808-Ljbffr
