Electrical Engineer

Overviewi3 has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to support the Naval Research Laboratory, Tactical Electronic Warfare Division.TEWD’s mission is to protect the warfighter from emerging threats by advancing electronic warfare (EW) through RDT&E of current and future technologies.ResponsibilitiesContributing team member in the research, design, development, test, and analysis of anti-ship missile (ASM) simulators, simulations, and related subsystems.Design and develop hardware, software, and firmware in EW applications.Develop and implement algorithms for use in radar applications.Support integration and verification testing in laboratory and field environments.Generate technical reports documenting design and analysis.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.Minimum five (5) years of experience.Proficient C/C++ developer.Experience designing, developing, and testing radio frequency (RF) and digital circuits.Experience debugging embedded software or firmware.Experience with lab bring-up and characterization of RF circuit boards.Experience with printed circuit board layout.Desired:Master’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.Ten (10) years of experience.Experience with radar and guidance systems.MATLAB application in simulation and data analysis.Experience writing technical reports.Security ClearanceActive Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
