OverviewNational Award-Winning Engineering Firm is seeking a highly motivated Senior Structural Project Engineer. This position requires you to work with a growing structural engineering group on a diverse variety of projects. Project work currently includes academic, municipal, industrial, and transportation. They see value in anything you can bring to the table; even if it’s something other than what they have listed here.ResponsibilitiesHighly proficient with structural design expertise as part of a project team or independently and coordinate with other disciplines in achieving design solutionsStrong knowledge of structural engineering design solutions for buildings and structures integrating project objectives and design criteriaInteract and communicate effectively with design team membersDeliver complete and accurate structural designs and prepare structural drawings and details on-time and within design budgetAssure compliance with company quality control programCheck work of others as assignedReview construction shop drawings and submittalsCertify engineering design documents as requiredMeet with clients, prepare proposals, and business developmentAbility to work creatively to reach solutions to complex problemsManage multiple project assignments, executing them on time and within budgetRequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil) with Structural Engineering emphasis (M.S. Engineering preferred)15 years related work experienceStrong understanding and ability to prepare design of structural steel, concrete, wood/timber, and masonry components and framing systemsWorking knowledge of IBC, AISC, and ACI Building CodesProfessional Registration: Professional EngineerProfessional Registration: Structural Engineer is preferred, not necessaryWorking knowledge and proficiency with computer aided structural analysis / design software such as RISA 3D, Tekla Fastrak, TEDDSWorking knowledge of Autodesk Revit #J-18808-Ljbffr
