Location: RemoteJob Id:227# of Openings:1Job SummaryThe Electrical Controls Engineer is part of a cross-discipline project team, responsible for the program development and commissioning tasks required for successful and on time completion of parcel system upgrade and integration projects. They work closely with their engineering peers, electrical installation teams, various support roles, and occasionally our customers. They may serve as a mentor to their peers yet are not anticipated to have any direct reports.The Electrical Controls Engineer is responsible for the successful execution of program development and commissioning tasks. These include developing PLC/HMI/SCADA code, field support, project documentation, commissioning, and overall adherence to customer and governing agency specifications. The Electrical Controls Engineer will, in most cases, be collaborating with a team of engineering peers and supported by a team of commissioning engineers.Develops and maintains a working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and project scope.Develops PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs.Assists with the development of FAT commissioning requirements and project missioning and start-up efforts, including travel, weekends, and overtime.Provides technical interface with internal stakeholders and customer’s project representatives.Shares responsibility for ensuring the quality of goods and services to both internal and external customers.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school, orfiveyears of applicable experience.Experience with PLC and HMI hardware and software.Two years of applicable experience.Preferredexperience includes:PLC experience on Allen-Bradley or Siemens platforms.HMI/SCADA experience with two or more of PanelView, Proface, Wonderware, Indusoft, or Ignition.Working proficiency with AutoCAD.Prior experience in the conveyor, material handling or related industries. #J-18808-Ljbffr
