The day-to-day responsibilities will vary significantly depending on each client’s size and unique needs.This role offers flexible hours, a hybrid work schedule, and compensation of $70-$90 per hour, based on experience. The ideal candidate has a diverse background, construction and manufacturing preferred, and a willingness to commute from San Francisco to San Jose.Responsibilities:Oversee and coordinate all financial and accounting activities and personnel.Set controls and budgets to mitigate risks and increase return on investments.Manage all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.Support month-end and year-end close processes.Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques.Conduct internal audits to assess financial status.Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.Serve as the primary contact for external auditors.Qualifications:Degree in Accounting or Finance (BS/BA/MBA).Extensive experience in accounting management or related fields.Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.Fundamental knowledge of GAAP.Strong leadership qualities and analytical skills.Deadline and detail-oriented.CPA preferred but not required.Public accounting background is preferred but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
