We recognize talents and strengths and take care to nurture those abilities to help our Team Members grow into successful people in their careers, in our organization, and beyond.Looking for a position that makes you smile?We’re seeking a Director, Finance – New Business Integration to join our growing team.The Director, Finance – New Business Integration is responsible for analyzing the financial performance of newly acquired businesses during their integration cycle post-acquisition, and providing financial guidance to Executives, Doctors, and Operations to ensure a smooth integration into core financial processes and performance expectationsHow you’ll make us better:Serve as the lead financial partner for newly acquired entities, owning the financial transition from close through stabilization and handoff to steady-state FP&A supportEstablish and maintain financial reporting routines, including monthly performance reviews, variance analysis, and KPIs tailored to the needs of the acquired businessPartner with clinic teams to understand drivers of revenue, profitability, and cost structure, and translate them into financial insights for operations and leadership teamsDevelop and monitor integration-specific budgets, forecasts, and financial milestonesSupport the identification and realization of synergies and efficiencies as part of post-close planningHelp to drive accountability and financial discipline in the first year of ownership while adapting to the unique dynamics of each acquisitionPrepare and deliver integration updates and financial summaries for internal leadership and board reporting as neededStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsPrerequisites for success:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required; MBA preferredEight (8) years of experience in FP&A, operational finance, or business integration required; multi-location organization experience in healthcare, dental, multi-site, or private equity-backed environments preferredCPA preferredAdvanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems such as Intacct, Workday Adaptive, and Power BIWe saved the best for exchange for the dynamic contribution you’ll bring to our team, we offer:Medical, dental, vision and life insuranceShort and long-term disability coverage401(k) plan3 weeks paid time off in your first year + paid holidaysDiscounts on braces and clear aligners for you and your family membersWhy Smile Doctors?As the nation’s leading Orthodontic Support Organization, Smile Doctors is shaping the future of orthodontics through strategic partnerships with top local doctors.
