OverviewThe Banking group in the Chicago office is looking for a mid-level associate (Class of 2020-2018) with general finance experience, including drafting and negotiating commitment papers, security agreements, credit agreements and other loan documents, UCC experience as well as general corporate experience. High level of academic achievement and solid law firm experience preferred.ResponsibilitiesDrafting and negotiating commitment papers, security agreements, credit agreements and other loan documents.UCC experience and general corporate experience.QualificationsMid-level associate (Class of 2020-2018).General finance experience; drafting and negotiating loan documents.High level of academic achievement and solid law firm experience pensation and BenefitsThe starting base salary for this Chicago position is expected to be between $365,000 $420,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable addition, associates who join Skadden laterally participate in an enhanced mentor program, which specifically focuses on the unique needs experienced attorneys face during professional transitions.
