The Position Our banking client is seeking a Bank Information Technology Director in Baltimore, MD. The role involves managing technical aspects of third-party implementations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and with high-quality deliverables. This position offers a salary up to $145K and a benefits package. (Note: This is not a remote position). Responsibilities Managing and prioritizing the software development team activities. Providing technical oversight for internal developers and third-party partners. Designing, coding, and implementing systems and applications, including API development for vendor solutions. Developing architectural solutions for systems, databases, user interfaces, and web services. Conceptualizing software systems to meet business and customer needs. Conducting cost analysis to keep projects within budget. Guiding, coaching, and mentoring software engineers. Collaborating with management, stakeholders, vendors, and developers to align solutions with strategic goals. Providing project management and technical leadership across projects. Supervising resource allocation to meet business and personnel development goals. Managing and escalating delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes. Conducting unit and integration testing for functionality. Ensuring solutions meet company and customer requirements. Preparing project lifecycle documentation, including research, development, design, evaluation, and testing. Leading architectural efforts and developing technical roadmaps. Evaluating projects, updating schedules, and supervising project status. Developing requirements documents, procedures, and functional architectures. Who Are You? Skills and experience include: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Five+ years of software development experience and at least one year of supervisory experience. Knowledge of leading-edge technology. Experience managing software development teams. Financial services industry experience, particularly with Jack Henry and Associates SilverLake (preferred). Strong judgment, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
