Job Description

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) in Washington (USA) to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for complex web applications. You will work with development, cloud, QA, and security teams to ensure software is reliable, secure, and production-ready. Focus on building automated UI and API test frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and embedding security testing throughout the development lifecycle.AccountabilitiesDesign, build, and maintain automated UI and API test frameworks using C# (.NET Core), Playwright, and Postman/tegrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, establishing quality gates to prevent production defects.Collaborate cross-functionally with Developers, Cloud Engineers, QA Analysts, and Security Specialists to ensure applications are testable, secure, and resilient.Read and interpret TypeScript/Angular code to support front-end testing efforts.Embed security testing (SAST, DAST, dependency scans) directly into the development lifecycle.Troubleshoot flaky tests, optimize coverage, and advocate best practices for test automation across teams.Qualifications3–5 years of experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps.Strong programming skills in C# (.NET Core/).Experience testing Angular applications with knowledge of TypeScript.Familiarity with Playwright, Postman/Newman, and a passion for clean, maintainable test code.Experience embedding security testing in pipelines.Solid understanding of testing types—unit, integration, regression—and metrics for success (coverage, reliability, defect detection).Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment.Remote work with opportunities for in-person collaboration and training.BenefitsCompetitive salary: $105,000–$115,000.Generous paid time off, sick leave, and flexible work prehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.Exceptional retirement benefits and 401(k) options.Monthly remote work stipend.Training and tuition assistance programs.Employee Assistance Program for personal and professional support. #J-18808-Ljbffr
