We need your experience to lead the development and implementation of Splunk-based solutions that will strengthen critical infrastructure.On our team, you’ll troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge of enterprise monitoring tools, network infrastructure, and security applications. You’ll use your curiosity for technology and market trends to further research and develop scalable cybersecurity solutions.Serving as a Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) Developer, you will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of Splunk ITSI dashboards, Glass Tables, KPIs, and correlation searches. You will also assist in onboarding data sources, monitoring environments, and supporting ITSI-based service models. You will collaborate with mid- and senior-level developers to deliver Splunk ITSI solutions aligned with federal mission requirements. The world can’t wait.You Have5+ years of experience with Splunk Enterprise in a development or engineering roleExperience with Splunk ITSI, including creation of services, KPIs, and glass tablesExperience creating custom dashboards, reports, and alerts tailored to mission requirementsExperience with data onboarding into Splunk, including field extractions, parsing, and normalizationExperience with federal data governance, compliance, and security frameworks such as FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMPKnowledge of Search Processing Language (SPL) for advanced search queries, correlation, and optimizationAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and mission needs into technical Splunk solutionsIRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (IRS MBI)HS diploma or GEDNice If You HaveExperience with Python, Shell, or PowerShell scripting for Splunk automation and custom integrationsExperience with AWS or other cloud environments and their integration with SplunkExperience developing or maintaining Splunk apps or add-onsExperience supporting a federal government program or agency in a Splunk-focused roleExperience with AppDynamics or OpsBridge ManagerKnowledge of ITIL processes and applying Splunk ITSI to service management workflowsKnowledge of Linux and Windows systemsSplunk Core Consultant or Splunk ITSI Certified Admin CertificationVettingApplicants selected must possess an active IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (IRS MBI) and meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client; IRS MBI is pensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
