We are a group of talented entrepreneurial legal professionals who care about culture and have a multi-state presence.Job Summary: We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Legal Project Manager to join our ranks. The work at DB is fast paced and sophisticated, and this role is integral to ensuring the smooth creation and execution of complex estate plans and related matters. The LPM will work closely with attorneys, clients, team members and other stakeholders to oversee the progress of estate planning related projects from inception to completion.ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Coordination: Manage the planning and execution of all estate planning projects. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, clients, financial advisors, and other external parties to ensure efficient project execution.Client Management & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for attorneys and clients, providing regular updates on the progress of their estate planning matters. Ensure clear communication between clients and legal teams, addressing concerns and ensuring client expectations are managed.Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve workflows to optimize efficiency and reduce redundancy. Recommend process improvements and best practices.Document Management: Oversee the organization and management of legal documents and files, ensuring all documents are properly stored, filed, and accessible. Ensure all necessary documents are prepared and submitted in a timely manner.Team Support & Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to all team members, to ensure effective support for legal projects. Foster collaboration and communication within the team to enhance productivity and morale.Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, or related field.Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in legal project management, preferably within a trusts and estates or estate planning firm.Strong project management skills with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams.Knowledge of legal terminology, trust, and estate law.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal project management software (e.g., Asana).Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a law firm environment, particularly in trusts and estates department.PMP or other relevant certifications in project management.Familiarity with trust and estate administration software tools.BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision insuranceImmediate participation in 401(k) and 100% vested match after 1 year of serviceCompany paid life and long-term disability insuranceHSA, HRA and Flex Spending Account optionsDynamic and diverse work environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentPaid holidays and 15 PTO days annuallySalary & LocationSalary: The salary range for this position is $60,000-$85,000.Locations:Chicago, ILDes Moines, IAOmaha, NEDBLAW #J-18808-Ljbffr
