They are looking for a dynamic, innovative leader to oversee all banking accounting functions. This senior leader will have a track record of successful growth strategies for banks and will guide the organization’s financial area toward expansion.This role offers a competitive salary of up to $155K and a full benefits package. (This is not a remote position)Bank ALM/Planning Director responsibilities include:Directing all financial activities, including reporting, planning, supervision, and investments.Assisting the Executive Team with forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.Preparing and filing annual tax returns or providing financial information for outside accountants.Preparing or overseeing the preparation of financial statements, reports, forecasts, budgets, and regulatory filings.Serving on or chairing the bank’s ALCO committee with a strong background in ALM modeling and forecasting.Supervising employees in financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting.Maintaining knowledge of organizational policies, federal and state regulations, and accounting standards.Conducting or coordinating audits to ensure compliance with legal requirements.Managing disbursement requests according to company policies.Monitoring financial activities and reserve levels to meet regulatory standards.Evaluating and leading the performance of financial staff, including personnel actions.Overseeing financial planning, budgeting, procurement, and investment activities.Developing internal control policies and procedures.Analyzing financial data to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.Leading staff training in budgeting and financial management.Who Are You?You seek personal development and an opportunity to pursue your passions. You view a job title as a starting point, not a final definition of who you are.Skills and experience include:Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; Master’s preferred.Extensive experience with banks of at least $1B in assets.Seven or more years of related experience or equivalent education and training.Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Access.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, meet deadlines, and solve complex financial problems.The next step is yours.
